This alloy front C-hub is built for the TAMIYA XV-01 chassis and supplied as a 1pr replacement, model XV019. It takes the place of the stock plastic C-hub and is aimed at hobbyists tuning steering and front suspension on 1/10 scale cars.
The metal construction gives a firmer seating for the steering knuckle and can change steering feedback and suspension behaviour compared with plastic components. The part is designed to match the XV-01 front assembly and is sold as a single pair (1pr).
Installation is simple for those comfortable with basic maintenance: remove the original C-hub, transfer any seals, bearings or locating pins as needed, and fasten the alloy hub using the original mounting bolts. No specialised tools are supplied, and fastener torque should follow the chassis maker's guidance.
An alloy C-hub can affect steering response and alignment repeatability. Use it alongside adjustments to wheel alignment, shock tune and tyre choice for a balanced setup rather than relying on it alone.
