7075 alloy steering mount tailored for XV-02 PRO

This steering column mount is CNC-friendly 7075 aluminium crafted as an upgrade for the TAMIYA XV-02 PRO chassis. The part increases structural stiffness around the steering column and gives a more positive mounting surface than factory plastic pieces.

Installers should remove the original mount, align the aluminium piece with the existing holes and use compatible stock hardware where it fits. Tighten screws to a controlled torque and recheck steering travel and servo alignment after fitting. The reduced flex in the steering path helps maintain predictable steering on long practice runs or club events.

Packing includes

  • Steering column mount - 1pcs

Compatible Models

  • TAMIYA-1/10 4WD XV-02 PRO CHASSIS-58707
Most users can reuse the original screws if they match; keep spare M screws handy in case your stock hardware does not seat correctly in the alloy threads.
The mount is intended to maintain original geometry. After installation confirm there is full, unobstructed steering travel and adjust linkages if necessary.
Inspect for thread wear and check fastener torque periodically. Clean mating surfaces and avoid over-tightening to prevent stress on bolts and chassis points.
