Upgraded Lower Arms with Reduced Flex

The JR-TFD05-BK kit contains two black-anodized aluminum lower arms for front and rear use on selected Tamiya buggies. They are designed as replacement components to stiffen the lower link compared to stock plastic arms and deliver more repeatable suspension reactions during setup adjustments.

This two-piece set is finished in black and intended specifically for the Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher chassis. The parts function as tuning items to change roll stiffness and steering feel by reducing unwanted flex at the lower arm while keeping original mounting points intact for straightforward installation.

Installation notes: install these arms where the stock lower arms sit on compatible models. Check hinge pins, retainers and alignment once fitted. Confirm your vehicle’s existing fasteners are available since included hardware is not guaranteed.

Great stuff. Love the upgrades. Wish they did more though, love jazzing up my cars
Made from aluminum, the arms resist flex far better than stock plastic but are less impact-forgiving; they trade some shock absorption for improved precision.
The pieces are black finished; with normal use the coating can show wear at contact points. Regular inspection and light touch-up can maintain appearance.
Minor nicks can be filed, but significant bends or cracks require replacement to preserve safe handling.
Aluminum itself resists rust; maintain cleanliness and avoid prolonged exposure to saltwater to prevent surface corrosion of the finish.
