Aluminium spur gear mount for TB-04

This aluminium spur gear mount is supplied as a single set and is intended for use on the TAMIYA TB-04 touring chassis. Manufactured by GPM, the part locates and secures the spur within the TB-04 gearbox area to maintain correct mesh and alignment under normal use and when making setup changes.

Built as an aftermarket aluminium upgrade, the mount provides a reliable interface between the spur and surrounding gearbox supports. In day-to-day tuning it helps the mesh and lash settings remain stable when changing spur sizes or adjusting drive components, so you spend less time realigning parts.

Installation follows familiar TB-04 service steps: remove the stock spur retaining items, fit the aluminium mount in place, verify spur-to-pinion engagement and axial clearance, and reassemble the box. Intended for RC-scale TB-04 gearboxes only; test the fit before completing reassembly.

The holder is tailored to the TB-04 gearbox layout. Other gearboxes may require different spacing or retainers so check compatibility first.
A firmer mount can reduce movement under load, which helps keep mesh consistent and can reduce uneven wear or noise caused by shifting alignment.
No special tools are required beyond standard TB-04 maintenance tools; verify screw types and torque to avoid stressing parts.
