Precision alloy motor mount for RC18T chassis

The RC18-013/SI is an aluminium motor mount crafted for the Team Associated RC18T platform and supplied as a direct replacement or upgrade for the drivetrain mount. The machined alloy construction is intended to supplant softer stock pieces and deliver a firmer motor clamp without changing scale or electrical layout.

Fit is specific to RC18T chassis variants, so double-check your plate and screw positions before ordering. The part functions mechanically to secure the motor to the gearbox or motor plate and to maintain correct pinion-to-spur alignment. This component is for RC use only and has no application to road vehicles.

Fitting is routine for those familiar with compact RC work: remove the original mount, transfer needed screws and spacers, align the aluminium piece to chassis locating points, and tighten hardware to a firm but cautious torque to protect threads. After fitting, verify gear mesh and make slight pinion adjustments for smooth running.

Used as a tuning upgrade, the aluminium mount helps hold gear alignment under load and during more aggressive driving, offering improved wear resistance and mechanical stability for racers and keen hobbyists. The design is for the RC18T family and 1/18 electric truck applications.

If your modifications have preserved the original motor mount locations and hole pattern it will fit, otherwise measure and confirm before purchasing.
Periodically check fastener tightness and gear mesh after a few runs; aluminium can hide loosening faster than thicker stock parts.
No change to electronics is required; the mount is mechanical only, though a firmer attachment can marginally improve heat transfer away from the motor casing.
