This billet-style caster block replaces the stock plastic unit on Team Associated RC18T and RC18R models as RC18-008/SI. It provides a firmer steering mount that helps limit flex at the front end while keeping the original suspension geometry intact.

Installation is aimed at hobbyists familiar with routine RC maintenance: remove the factory block, move over any bearings, seals or shims, fit the new aluminum block to the upright and reinstall the original fasteners. No specialised tools are needed beyond standard hex drivers, though attentive torqueing of screws reduces the risk of binding.

Used as a tuning component rather than a setup overhaul, the block improves mounting stiffness to reduce deflection during heavy steering loads. For best handling, run it with serviced bearings and properly adjusted steering links to preserve tyre alignment under load.
