This unit is a replacement main spur gear made for the Team Associated RC18T 18T chassis and supplied as one piece. The 54T tooth profile determines final drive behaviour on 1/18 scale 18T setups, and titanium is chosen for its resistance to wear compared with common steel or brass spurs.
Fitment is specific to the RC18T main spur location, so measure your current gear and mounting interface before ordering. The part is designed to be a direct component swap into the gearbox spur position without chassis alteration.
Fitting is standard: remove the gearbox cover or spur assembly, take off the old spur, position the 54T correctly, check pinion mesh, then reassemble and test rotation on the bench. Fine adjustments to mesh and minor shimming are normal during setup to ensure longevity.
In practical tuning, a titanium 54T improves durability and slightly alters drivetrain feel under load. Keep it as a serviceable spare for frequent maintenance and for evaluating pinion and gear combos across different track conditions. Inspect regularly and replace when wear appears.
