Heavy-Duty Seat Mount for Promoto-MX

This RC-scale front seat support crash structure fits Team Losi Promoto-MX motorcycles and is supplied as model JR-LMX01-RD. The duty of this bracket is to replace the original plastic seat mount with a machined aluminium unit that tolerates impacts better.

The component gives clear benefits: it stiffens the front seat area to reduce repeat plastic breakage and is designed to fail in a predictable manner so surrounding chassis parts are less likely to deform. The visible red finish also helps spot damage quickly during post-run checks.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the original part, move across any short screws or small hardware, and install the new support into the existing mounting points using standard hex drivers. Confirm there is no interference between the bracket, seat, and steering through the turning arc.

Specifications

  • Item: Front seat support crash structure
  • Material: Aluminum
  • Model Number: JR-LMX01-RD
  • Compatibility: Team Losi Promoto-MX Motorcycle

Use this aluminium support to make front-end repairs quicker and to keep alignment predictable after light crashes.

No chassis drilling is expected. The JR-LMX01-RD is designed for the stock mounting points on Team Losi Promoto-MX frames and should install using the original locations.
Remove the plastic support, transfer any retained clips or short fasteners, fit the aluminium bracket in place and tighten bolts evenly with standard hex drivers to avoid misalignment.
Most short stock fasteners can be reused; if a screw is damaged or worn, replace it with a matching metric hex screw to maintain secure mounting.
After installation, cycle the steering through full lock left and right and check seat and body panel clearance. Adjust fastener tension if you detect any rubbing to prevent wear.
