Stainless mounts for gearbox stability

The SSB038M kit supplies direct-fit front and rear gearbox mounts made for Team Losi SUPER BAJA kits. Constructed from stainless steel to replace the original plastic brackets, the mounts help reduce flex at the gearbox to chassis interface.

Role on the vehicle: these mounts position the gearbox relative to chassis and driveline components, aiding consistent spur and pinion engagement when under load and supporting repeatable driveline alignment for setup changes. They suit builds where stronger mounting points are preferred.

Fitting notes: items are sold as one pair for use at both front and rear locations. Verify screw length and thread engagement before final tightening, and recheck driveline alignment after installation. Use appropriate thread locking compound on metal fasteners where a secure fit is required, and confirm there is sufficient clearance to nearby suspension and motor parts when test fitting.
