The Yokomo YT-WG2 rubber band is an accessory for RC tyre bonding and finishing. It keeps the tyre fitted tightly to the wheel so the bead and rim sit flush, reducing gaps while adhesive cures and helping you trim the edge more precisely.

Apply the band during glue-up to keep uniform pressure around the tyre bead; this is especially useful with soft compound tyres or when re-seating a tyre after repair. The elastic band maintains seating while you verify contact and carry out final trimming and cleaning.

Practical tip: fit the band without twisting, pull it evenly around the tyre, and confirm the bead sits level before the glue sets. Store spare bands away from heat and sunlight to prolong elasticity.
