Purpose-built scale crawler tyres for use on TRAXXAS TRX4M vehicles, provided with foam inserts and sized nominally at 62mm outer diameter by 20.5mm width for 1.0 inch wheel use. The low durometer butyl compound is selected to boost slow-speed traction, while the foam and internal reinforcement maintain tyre profile during articulation.
Technical notes mention a 25-degree soft compound and strengthened internal structure to improve tear resistance. The tyre build is intended to offer better bite on wet and rough terrain than harder plastic-style tyres, with the insert supporting the sidewall to reduce deformation under load.
Fitment is engineered with a slightly tight inner diameter to cut down on slip at the rim, a long bead tongue for secure clamping, and accommodation for longer fixing screws for direct-attach schemes. The slim clamp area simplifies rim mounting and a one-handed tyre tool is effective for seating the tyre over the foam insert.
