Designed as a replacement tyre set for TRX4M-scale trail rigs, these 1.0 inch tyres include foam inserts for improved sidewall stiffness and repeatable ride height. The compound is a very soft butyl rubber around 25 degrees, intended to give stronger grip than many hard plastic tyres, and the reinforced construction helps resist tearing during off-road use.
Tuning and fit: these tyres suit narrow 1.0 inch rims and are a practical way to change traction, articulation and steering feedback. Foam inserts stabilise the tread under load so tyre choice becomes a clear tuning point for scale crawling where deformation and traction take priority over roll speed.
Mounting tips: install on 1.0 inch bead rims common to TRX4M-class crawlers and double-check rim inner diameter and wheel hex before fitting. Make sure inserts sit centrally and avoid stretching the bead excessively to keep a secure rim fit.
