Toughened main shaft for the T-Maxx driveline

The GPM steel main shaft is a hardened replacement for the stock axle component on 1/10 T-Maxx monster trucks, supplied complete with mounting screws. Offered as a single pair set, this hop-up is made to be fitted to TRAXXAS T-Maxx models to improve durability in the central driveline.

Functionally the shaft transmits torque from the gearbox to the wheels and helps keep the driveline tight under heavy throttle. Replacing a bent or fatigued shaft with TMX1037S can improve power transfer and support heavier running or more extreme tuning. The screws included are matched to factory points to maintain fit without trimming the chassis.

Fitting notes: inspect bearings and seals while the unit is accessible, degrease contact surfaces, and apply correct screw torque as per chassis guidance. After installation, double-check gear mesh and alignment to prevent premature tooth wear. The product is intended for RC-scale maintenance and upgrades only.

Specifications

  • Item: Steel Main Shaft With Screws -1pr set
  • Material: Steel
  • Model Number: TMX1037S
  • Compatibility: TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx Monster Truck (Options)

For tuners and maintenance-minded hobbyists fitting tougher drivetrain parts to a TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx, this GPM main shaft delivers a direct-fit steel option to restore performance.

Standard RC tools are sufficient, but use a torque driver for the mounting screws to ensure correct clamping force.
It is good practice to inspect and replace worn bearings and seals while the shaft is out to avoid recurring issues.
The shaft is designed for the stock mounting layout; verify spur and pinion mesh after any gearing changes to ensure clearance.
