Unpainted Land Cruiser 60 Shell Tailored to KC10

The Kyosho CLB001 is a non-decorated polycarbonate body sculpted for scale appearance on KC10 1/10 off-road platforms. The set comes with chrome accessory parts, pre-cut decal sheets and masking guides to assist accurate paintwork and detailing at model scale.

Pre-formed light buckets are ready to accept separate LED Light Unit components from the 97054 series, supporting a four-lamp front and four-lamp rear configuration including indicator positions. Keep in mind that the CL012 bumper set and CL013 body mount kit are sold separately and are not part of this package.

Supplied unpainted to allow bespoke finishes, the CLB001 benefits from the included masking sheets which make crisp paint lines and decal placement easier. Choose suitable polycarbonate paints and follow trimming and drying recommendations to achieve the best fit and long-term durability for trail or crawler use.

What preparatory steps are recommended before painting?

Trim any excess material from the shell, clean with a mild solvent to remove oils, apply the included masking sheets where needed, and use polycarbonate-specific paints for best adhesion.

Which paints work best on this shell?

Use paints formulated for polycarbonate (Lexan) bodies; conventional model acrylics or enamels are not recommended as they may not flex with the shell.

Can I add aftermarket bumpers and mounts?

Yes. Aftermarket bumpers and mount kits can be fitted, but note the CL012 bumpers and CL013 mount set are not included and must be sourced separately if required.

How resilient is the unpainted body for trail use?

When correctly trimmed and painted with polycarbonate paint, the CLB001 provides good resistance to chips and flexing typical in trail and crawler applications.
