Aluminium collars and fasteners for 1/10 T-Maxx

This aftermarket set of alloy collars and mounting screws fits TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx platforms and is listed as TMX13100/SC. It replaces softer plastic or worn metal collars and fasteners to help keep driveline and linkage joints properly aligned and free of excessive play.

Function overview: collars clamp onto shafts and axles to locate gears, wheel hubs or linkage ends, while the matching screws secure parts that are disassembled often or subjected to heavy impacts during off-road use. The aluminium parts offer a firmer seat than many OEM kits while adding minimal weight to a scale build.

Fitting guidance: lift the truck securely and tackle one side at a time, remove wheel and hub items as required, withdraw the old collar, slide on the alloy collar and tighten the set screw to land on the shaft flat, then reassemble and verify smooth rotation. Fit the correct hex driver and do not over-torque set screws into plastic components.

Maintenance tips: renewed collars can reduce driveline slop and make steering responses more consistent by maintaining precise linkage indexing. Check shafts for wear before fitting, clean contact areas, and revisit fastener torque after a short running session to confirm stability.

They are made for the standard 1/10 T-Maxx shaft sizes; if your axles are from an aftermarket kit, verify diameters and bore fit before fitting the TMX13100/SC set.
A small drop of medium-strength threadlocker is suitable for high-vibration applications, but avoid overuse so you can service the joints when needed.
After tightening, rotate the hub assembly by hand and inspect for play. The collar should hold position without binding the shaft.
