Steering linkage upgrade for LaTrax SST

This aluminium completed tie rod set is manufactured for the TRAXXAS 1/18 LaTrax SST chassis and supplied as a 7pcs kit. It provides a metal option to replace the original plastic linkages, helping to maintain steering geometry and cut down on unwanted flex during setup.

Fitment is aimed at hobbyists with basic model experience: confirm ball joints seat correctly, engage threads fully, match each rod to stock lengths where needed, and avoid over-tightening small fasteners. After fitting, cycle the steering and watch suspension articulation to ensure no binding is present.

For setup work, aluminium linkages stabilise mechanical feedback to the servo and support more consistent toe and trim adjustments when dialing in steering endpoints or suspension settings. Use the set as part of incremental tuning rather than a single-change approach.

I’m very happy! Fast delivery, high quality parts, fit precisely. Thank you!
The kit contains seven parts to cover the typical link positions referenced in the LaTrax SST setup; check your chassis layout to confirm which items replace the stock pieces.
Basic hobby tools suffice: pliers for ball ends, small hex drivers and a careful torque approach; avoid heavy-handed tightening on small fasteners.
Aluminium reduces flex which can slightly increase feedback felt at the servo, but it improves repeatability for trim and toe settings when properly installed.
