This aluminium wheel hex claw is an aftermarket accessory intended for use with the TRAXXAS 1/8 X-Maxx series and is sold as a pair (2 pcs). It improves wheel-to-hex engagement to minimise slippage of the wheel on the hex under high torque loads, helping tyres maintain contact and traction.

The TXM006/+3 is the +3mm offset option from a family that also includes thinner choices like 1mm; the increased thickness moves the wheel outward for stance and track-width adjustments. The part is CNC machined from aluminium to provide a stiffer mount compared with stock plastic hexes.

Fitting is straightforward: remove wheel and existing hex, install the aluminium hex on the axle or hub, and tighten using the original retaining hardware.
