Precision Aluminium Towers for TRAXXAS GT4 TEC

Purpose-built aluminium front shock towers for the TRAXXAS 4WD GT4 TEC 2.0 platform, GT028. These parts are intended to stiffen the front suspension layout and offer several mounting holes to alter shock angle for tailored handling.

Fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminium, the components combine reduced mass with improved tensile properties over standard stamped steel plates. The front surface has been given greater dimensional detail while maintaining original mounting geometry to preserve predictable performance.

Multiple mounting positions permit incremental adjustments to the top of the shock. Altering the shock eye position changes leverage and can be used to refine ride height response, mid-corner grip and weight transfer characteristics. Installation uses the vehicle's existing mounting points for an uncomplicated upgrade.

Included fasteners are stainless steel round head screws: 3x10 - 2pcs and 3x14 - 2pcs. Fit with standard hex drivers, verify threads are fully engaged and check alignment after initial running to confirm secure fitment.

What grade of aluminium is used?

The towers are made from 6061 T6 aluminium to balance strength and weight for hobby use.

Can I adjust shock angle without removing springs?

Yes, the top eye can be repositioned using the supplied screws and basic tools; springs and shocks normally remain in place.

Is any extra machining required for fitment?

No additional machining is required when installed on the GT4 TEC 2.0 standard mounts; use the supplied stainless fasteners.
