Aluminium brake rotor and caliper replacement

This aluminium rotor and caliper assembly is a scale aftermarket replacement made for the TRAXXAS 4WD GT4 TEC 2.0 brake area. The components are CNC style machined metal parts engineered to match the original mounting points so they replace the stock disk and caliper without extra adapters.

The rotor features a machined swirl finish on the outer ring and is thicker at 8mm compared with the usual 7mm stock ring. When fitted to both axles the wider ring produces a small increase in wheeltrack that can affect chassis balance and stability under load.

Fitting requires standard RC workshop tools: remove wheel and hub, fit the rotor, attach the caliper to the existing mounts, and tighten the stainless fasteners. This item is for RC model use only and is not suitable for real vehicle braking.

Fit this upgrade to fine tune braking components and slightly broaden track width for altered handling; always confirm fit with your GT4 TEC 2.0 hubs and re-torque fasteners after initial testing.
