Aluminium adapter with hardened steel spur and pinion

This aftermarket kit replaces the factory spur interface on the TRAXXAS CRANIAC MONSTER TRUCK with a CNC-style aluminium adapter and hardened steel 58T spur plus 16T pinion, supplied as one set. The component aims to improve gear engagement repeatability and reduce wear compared with stock plastic or softer metal parts.

The adapter locates between the motor pinion and the internal spur assembly to improve centring and limit lateral play. The matched 58T spur and 16T pinion keep the original tooth counts to preserve the final drive ratio while delivering greater wear resistance for regular running and tuning work.

Installation notes: this accessory is designed as a direct replacement that uses the existing motor mount and spur housing on the CRANIAC platform. Check mesh using a head-shim check, verify motor clearance and axle alignment, and use light threadlocker on metal fasteners if appropriate. Re-check gear mesh after an initial break-in run.
