This aluminium spur gear adapter is an aftermarket replacement for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Craniac Monster Truck that accepts the original spur gear. Constructed from aluminium, it creates a rigid seating to maintain reliable gear mesh and alignment during spirited driving and setup work.

Installation is simple for those comfortable with drivetrain parts: remove the existing adapter, position the aluminium adapter onto the original spur seat, and tighten using the vehicle's original fasteners. The unit is intended to work with the factory spur gear and does not change the overall gear ratio.

Used as a tuning aid, the adapter cuts down flex where the spur meets the drivetrain, helping to keep mesh consistent under load and making it easier to diagnose gear noise or play. Verify fitment before extended use and consider this an RC-scale upgrade part.
