The box includes two spiral gears, one 13T and one 37T, matched for installation in the gearbox.
No change to motor pinion sizing is required; these gears are designed to work with the existing pinion and gearbox geometry when compatible.
Made from hard steel for better wear resistance, they are more durable than stock plastic spirals, though correct setup remains critical.
Set gear mesh with the motor and gearbox assembled, rotate by hand to view the contact pattern, and adjust spacing until it is even across the tooth face.
