Steel internal gears for E-REVO diffs

This kit supplies hardened steel differential gears for use in TRAXXAS E-REVO models. The black-finished steel provides consistent contact under load and a reliable rotational feel inside the diff housing. It is supplied as a direct replacement for compatible stock internal gears.

Fitment is standard diff servicing: remove the cover, extract original gears, inspect bearings and mating gears, then install the steel output and spider gears. Adjust gear mesh and clearances before reassembly, and replace or re-seat O-rings where needed to maintain the seal. Apply suitable differential grease and confirm free rotation through full suspension movement.

Note on setup: steel components will change wear and thermal behaviour compared with plastic or softer alloys. Monitor backlash and bearing wear during initial runs, keep lubrication consistent, and avoid over-torquing the diff case screws which can alter mesh alignment.

Compatible Models

  • 1/10 4WD FORD GT4-TEC 2.0 1/10 4WD 4-TEC 3.0 CORVETTE STINGARY-93054-4 E REVO 56087-1 REVO

Ideal for hobbyists performing maintenance or lightweight upgrades on compatible 1/10 4WD platforms where a metal diff internal is preferred.

Refer to the Compatible Models box above for the exact model string copied from the source. Match that text to your vehicle model numbers to verify compatibility.
The original listing lists O-ring 6x1 - 4pcs along with the output and spider gears. Keep or replace these as needed during installation.
They are intended as direct replacements for compatible diffs, so no machining should be needed if your platform matches the compatibility list. Confirm gear mesh and bearing condition when installing.
Check backlash and bearing play after a few runs, refresh grease if required, and ensure screws remain at correct torque to keep mesh stable.
