Aluminium steering and rear support upgrade

The ER162 link set provides aluminium front steering and rear supporting links for 1/10 TRAXXAS chassis. The four-piece kit replaces slim stock rods with thicker aluminium links to cut down on flex and deliver more repeatable steering feel.

Each link uses a 4mm thread so length can be adjusted clockwise or anti-clockwise for fine tie-rod tweaks without changing end fittings. The kit is described as a direct-fit upgrade for the compatible TRAXXAS models, focusing on structural stiffness and setup stability rather than altering suspension geometry.

Will aluminium links wear faster than steel?

Aluminium is lighter and stiffer; with normal hobby maintenance and correct installation it provides long service life comparable to other upgrade alloys.
