Overview of ER2123F/RS CVDs

The ER2123F/RS package contains a four-piece CVD dogbone set intended as front and rear replacements for TRAXXAS E-REVO VXL vehicles. These aftermarket dogbones are aimed at extending drivetrain life and keeping wheel drive consistent under load.

Parts are produced from hardened steel #45 and use the supplied dimensions: a 123mm dogbone length with the shaft diameter increased from 5.5mm to 6.5mm to stiffen the link between gearbox output and wheel hubs. The design accepts a small weight penalty in return for greater resistance to bending and wear during hard use.

Fitment and tuning notes: this set fits stock-style output interfaces that accept 6.5mm dogbones. When installing verify spline engagement and allowance for drive angle. Because the dogbones are stiffer, handling balance and drivetrain feedback can shift, so recheck alignment and suspension travel after installation.
