Aftermarket finned motor plate for TRAXXAS E-REVO VXL

This replacement motor plate is machined from 6061 T6 aluminium to connect the centre gearbox to the motor while adding integrated fins that increase cooling surface area. The design gives a stiffer mounting point compared with the stock plate while keeping the original motor and gearbox attachment locations.

The finned form improves passive heat dissipation during sustained runs, and the kit includes stainless steel screws and mounts for a straightforward swap with factory parts. It is intended for hobby-grade tuning and durability improvements for E-Revo VXL setups; verify clearance and alignment during installation.

Can I reuse the original screws?

The kit provides stainless steel screws sized for direct replacement, but you can reuse original hardware if it meets the same dimensions and is in good condition.

Is any motor modification required?

No motor modifications are required for standard E-Revo VXL motor fits; just confirm there is sufficient clearance between the motor can and the fins on your specific motor model.

How much weight does the plate add?

Made from 6061 T6 aluminium, the plate adds minimal weight compared with stock plastic parts while offering higher tensile strength and improved mounting rigidity.
