Oversized 7075-T6 transmission housing for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO

This CNC-machined transmission gear cover serves as an aftermarket replacement for the TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD sand car platform. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and laid out as a split cover, it creates extra internal room over the stock unit to accept larger motor gears and more powerful motor configurations while protecting the gearbox and motor gearset.

The unit is supplied pre-assembled with the included fasteners, which are grade 12.9 steel. The design indicates compatibility with GPM motor mounts and provides increased clearance to support larger spur and pinion combinations referenced by the original source. For secure long-term use, the manufacturer suggests applying a medium-strength thread adhesive to the fasteners to guard against loosening under heavy loads.
