7075-T6 Oversized Motor Base for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO (8S)

This aftermarket motor base is intended for 1/6 TRAXXAS Funco Pro and compatible XRT variants running heavy 8S power. Crafted from 7075-T6 aluminium, the alloy base increases rigidity compared with the stock polymer part and improves motor seating and alignment for large, high-torque motor cans.

A bundled tension adjustment on the rear maintains consistent axial pressure during high loads, and the V-shaped step on the side screw bosses helps prevent loosening from vibration. The mount accepts 56mm outer-diameter motors; manufacturer examples include HobbyWing 5687/5690/56118 and Castle 2028. Because the original plastic gear protection cover is superseded by this unit, fitment requires a larger gear protection cover compatible with up to a 28T/1.5 modulus motor gear.

Hardware is supplied and partly assembled to speed installation; apply medium-strength thread locking compound when finalising assembly for lasting clamp security. This component provides a stronger, adjustable motor fixing option for 8S-capable 1/6 sand car builds.

Use this aluminium base when upgrading to 56mm-class motors on TRAXXAS 1/6 sand cars to improve clamping strength and maintain accurate motor alignment for aggressive 8S performance.
