This CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminium transmission cover is an aftermarket upgrade tailored for the TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD SAND CAR platform. Anodised in several finishes, it helps prevent sand contamination of the pinion and spur gear area while keeping precise alignment with the original mounting points.

The unit ships pre-assembled and replaces factory part number 10987. For secure installation during aggressive sand use, secure the mounting screws with medium-strength screw glue to guard against vibrational loosening. Intended for scale model use only, not for real vehicles.

Fit TPS038M to add a hardened aluminium shield for the transmission area on your FUNCO PRO, and use thread adhesive on fasteners to maintain retention through dunes and rough sand tracks.
