This GT006 caliper is an RC-scale replacement designed for use on TRAXXAS GT4 TEC 2.0 platforms and fits alongside the brake rotor on compatible 4WD GT4 models. The focus is on improved structural stiffness and consistent mounting rather than appearance upgrades.

The caliper is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and anodised to help resist wear and corrosion while keeping weight low. The original package contains caliper halves and stainless steel button head screws 2.5x5 for fixing; check screw length and thread compatibility with your chassis before final fitting.

Fitting guidance: place the caliper next to the rotor, align the mounting holes and secure with the supplied stainless fasteners. Confirm there is adequate clearance around suspension links and hubs, and trial the brakes at low speed to confirm free movement. Use model-specific torque settings to prevent thread damage.

Setup note: aluminium calipers lower flex versus many stock plastics, tightening pedal feel on scale brake rigs; match rotor thickness and pad compound to achieve consistent bite. Use part reference 8367 when checking compatibility.
