17mm track widening hub for Traxxas models

The TJ010-5MM hub set is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium to replace factory 17mm hubs and add 5mm of track width. These 17mm hex adapters locate between the knuckle arm and the wheel to increase the engagement area with 17mm splined wheels, helping reduce slippage and limiting hex wear when using larger tyres or carrying heavier loads.

Intended for 2S operation only, the hubs accept both 17mm splined wheels and conventional 17mm hex wheels so you can mix wheel types. They are built to be compatible with Maxx-duty axles found in the #9080 Extreme HD upgrade kit and suit Maxx-duty drivshafts with 6 mm axle shafts.

Fitting is a straightforward direct replacement on supported Traxxas chassis using the supplied 17mm hex interface; routine hand tools are adequate. The 5mm widen produces a small but noticeable effect on cornering balance and lateral stability, useful when tailoring handling to different surfaces or tyre widths.

When adding wider tyres or upgrading to an Extreme HD driveline, these 7075 alloy hubs provide a robust 17mm interface and an easy way to widen track while keeping installation simple during setup and tuning.
