Aftermarket 7075 aluminium hold-down for TRAXXAS JATO 4X4 VXL

The TJ0126 battery retainer from GPM is an aluminium upgrade made to replace factory items 7426 and 7426X on compatible TRAXXAS machines. The kit uses two machined alloy mounting blocks that sit at the front and rear battery positions plus a length-adjustable Velcro strap so higher-capacity packs can be secured safely. The supplier notes 7075 aluminium construction with anodised finish options for a tidy appearance.

Installed as a simple upgrade, the retainer reduces battery shift under hard acceleration or rough terrain by providing a more rigid anchor than the stock plastic retainers. Fasteners are supplied pre-assembled and the vendor suggests using medium-strength screw thread adhesive on the mounting screws to keep everything tight over time.
