Adjustable 104mm oil shock for front suspension

This 104mm oil-filled front shock is offered as a direct replacement and upgrade for TRAXXAS JATO 4X4 VXL installations and selected related models shown below. The sealed 6061-T6 alloy construction reduces stiction and helps control dynamic loads for cleaner chassis response over rough ground and jumps.

Design highlights include threaded shock bodies and collars to change ride height and preload quickly, a locking spring perch to lock in settings, and bleeder screws to speed up maintenance and air release. The shocks come pre-assembled and include a set of springs so riders can adjust travel and feel without extra parts.

Included springs feature a gold spring fitted on the shock with a 1.3mm wire diameter plus spare black springs at 1.4mm wire. Best practice is to use thread locker on exposed fasteners to prevent vibration loosening. Alter preload at the top spring retainer to fine-tune ride height and effective spring rate.
