Aftermarket steel and aluminium differential

This aftermarket ball differential is built for Traxxas Latrax platforms and provides a user-serviceable replacement option. The design combines steel running parts with aluminium cups and precision balls to achieve reliable, adjustable slip characteristics for Latrax Rally, SST and Teton vehicles.

Inside you will find ball bearings, thrust washers, a delrin pulley and aluminium output cups assembled to allow preload tuning. Adjustment is carried out through the central screw, which modifies preload on the ball stack and changes how the diff slips and initiates turns.

It is a practical upgrade when you want a rebuildable diff that fits the noted Latrax models and is simple to service using common RC tools like hex drivers and a small parts tray to keep components organised during maintenance.

Inspect bearings and washers during routine checks, clean all surfaces if contaminated, and apply a light differential grease at reassembly to preserve smooth adjustability.
