Machined piggy-back dampers for MAXX

These 125mm aluminium L-shape piggy-back spring dampers are an aftermarket option aimed at improving the front and rear shock performance on TRAXXAS MAXX trucks. They are intended to boost oil capacity, increase robustness and allow straightforward tuning for different surfaces and driving styles.

Each damper uses 6061 T6 aluminium for the outer casing and includes a sealed shock cap to cut down on leaks. The offset reservoir increases fluid volume for steadier damping through long travel, and the 6mm polished shaft reduces bending under load compared with thinner rods. Spring choices include heavier windings to handle harder landings.

Adjustment is handled at the top spring retainer so you can set preload and initial stiffness without taking the shock apart. The product is supplied as an 8 piece set to cover both front and rear positions on compatible TRAXXAS MAXX variants.
