The TXMS162S kit is a direct-fit front steering link upgrade for the TRAXXAS MAXX chassis. It swaps the standard front tie rods for a stiffer linkage and uses corrosion-resistant fixings suited to hobby environments.
Components are machined from a lightweight, high-tensile aluminium alloy and paired with stainless steel fasteners to balance strength against rust. The opposing-thread turnbuckle bodies allow you to set precise link length by turning the centre section clockwise or counterclockwise, enabling toe and track tuning without removing the links from the vehicle.
Fitting is straightforward for model builders comfortable with setup basics: remove the factory links, check ball end spacing, install the supplied turnbuckles and screws, then fine-tune length with the truck resting on its wheels to achieve neutral steering geometry. Confirm thread engagement and secure any set screws, then test steering travel on the ground.
