Aluminium L-shape piggy back dampers

This 16 piece damper set is designed as an RC-scale upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck platforms. The kit pairs 6061 T6 aluminium damper bodies with piggy back reservoirs and stiffer spring choices so you can alter damping feel without changing the chassis.

The build uses 6061 T6 aluminium for the bodies, a polished 6mm damper shaft and two coil thicknesses of interchangeable springs to change rate. The top spring retainer provides preload adjustment so riders can fine tune ride height and mid-speed compliance on typical off-road tracks.

Fitment replaces the stock front and rear shocks and keeps the L-shape reservoir layout to increase oil travel inside the damper. A sealed shock cap helps reduce leakage and the larger shaft lowers the chance of bending under heavy impacts.

The TXMS125FRL/2 dampers offer a direct aluminium-bodied upgrade for MAXX platforms where improved shaft rigidity, spring rate options and preload adjustment are required to refine suspension performance on rough terrain.
