Spare shock springs for MAXX setups

This 4-piece spring set is made for the TRAXXAS MAXX platform and carries the model code TXMSF/R/SPA. The two finishes give both a visual mix and practical replacement option for front or rear shocks.

Springs are manufactured from spring steel to withstand repeated duty cycles and impacts common in RC off-road use. The set includes two gold and two silver springs, intended for standard MAXX damper assemblies.

Source measurements: gold and silver springs share a free length of 85mm. Gold springs show an outer diameter of 27.2mm with a coil thickness of 2.1mm; silver springs show 26.8mm outer diameter with 1.9mm coil thickness. Inner diameter is 23mm for both, which alters spring rates and preload behaviour relative to some stock parts.

Installation and tuning notes: slide these springs onto compatible shock bodies for front or rear mounting and adjust preload by turning the shock top cap to alter compression. Use coil thickness differences to fine tune ride height and damping feel for rough terrain.

Compatibility: designed for TRAXXAS MAXX use and compatible with Traxxas original dampers as well as many third party racing dampers made for MAXX trucks.
