Tunable CVD drive shafts for MAXX chassis

This 12 piece aftermarket set upgrades the drivetrain on TRAXXAS MAXX MONSTER TRUCK layouts, prioritising robustness and the ability to trim handling through small geometry changes. The CVD swing joint replaces a cross-head axle joint to reduce driveline lash and improve power transfer at angles without altering the core drivetrain layout.

Construction pairs a hardened steel joint with a 6061 T6 aluminium body and increases axle diameter from 6mm to 8mm to cope with higher torque. The design is adjustable to allow small setup corrections for toe and suspension behaviour, and the kit includes the compatible 8x16x5 bearings required for the larger shaft.

Fitting notes: intended as a replacement where this CVD type is specified for MAXX models. Use the supplied bearing and fasteners, confirm set screws are secure, and check rotation and suspension travel before running the truck.
