Upgraded 7075 aluminium steering set

The TXMS192122N package swaps the factory plastic front C-hubs, steering blocks and rear stub axle carriers for CNC machined 7075 aluminium pieces designed for TRAXXAS MAXX 1/10 platforms. The parts are intended as bolt-on replacements to reduce steering slack and improve component longevity.

Design details include pressed Delrin collars to cut pivot gap and lower friction, stainless king pins for corrosion resistance, and dual-position tie-rod holes on the steering blocks so you can tune steering characteristics. The visible CNC finishing is a machining result rather than a functional upgrade.

Do I need special tools to fit these aluminium hubs?

Basic hand tools like hex drivers and pliers are usually enough; you fit the hubs in the same way as the stock parts using the supplied hardware.

Will using metal parts increase wear on other components?

Aluminium parts are stiffer and can transfer loads differently, so check adjacent components and keep suspension bearings and pivots well lubricated to avoid accelerated wear.

Can I change steering geometry with this kit?

Yes, the two tie-rod positions let you alter ackermann and steering ratio, giving a simple mechanical way to fine tune turn-in and midcorner behaviour.
