This aftermarket motor gear is built for TRAXXAS MAXX drivetrains and forged from hardened #45 steel to resist surface damage from pinion contact. It transmits motor torque into the gearing train and is supplied with a 4x4 set screw for secure attachment to the motor shaft.

During fitment, check the gear mesh and make sure the set screw bears squarely on the shaft flat or keyway. The hardened #45 material prioritizes contact wear resistance while leaving motor and ESC settings unchanged. Replace worn factory gears with this unit to regain smooth acceleration and quieter engagement.
