This aluminium rear chassis link protector is an upgrade part built to shield and strengthen the rear linkage area on Traxxas MAXX models. Fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminium, the piece balances reduced weight with solid impact resistance and is supplied with the mounting screws required for fitting.

Included in the kit are: Protector - 1 pcs, Stainless steel round head screw 4x30 - 2 pcs. The protector covers the rear link to lower the chance of direct hits and abrasion from stones, roots, and other trail debris.

Fitting is a straightforward job for a modeller with basic tools: remove any existing link guard or clear the mounting points, position the protector over the rear link area, and secure it using the supplied screws. No extra parts are normally needed; confirm thread engagement to avoid stripping into composite sections.
