6061-T6 arm and drive upgrade for MAXX stability

This 88 piece aftermarket upgrade is made for the TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck to broaden the wheel track and strengthen the suspension layout. The kit centres on replacement upper and lower arms, adjustable CVD drive shafts, hardened hex adapters and revamped steering tie rods to alter track width and enhance chassis composure in rough terrain.

Major parts are machined from 6061-T6 aluminium with stainless fasteners and Delrin collars at high-stress joints. The kit replaces standard cross-pin links with CVD swing joints and beefier axles to improve drivetrain efficiency while controlling added weight. Two 4mm white Delrin shims are included for rear clearance adjustments.

Fitting and setup guidance: multiple damper mount positions and adjustable turnbuckles allow tuning of toe and camber. The widened arm seating adds 20mm per side, so verify wheel and body clearance before tightening the build. Bearings 8x16x5 are provided to suit the larger axles in this set.

As a shop upgrade, the kit improves track width and drivetrain robustness; trial-fit wheels and bodywork to ensure clearance before final use.
