Rear driveline upgrade kit

Aftermarket rear driveshafts designed for the TRAXXAS Mini XRT VXL 3S to replace the stock CVD dog bones and drive cup set. Constructed from 4140 carbon steel with a hardened black treatment, these parts offer improved wear resistance over typical CVD pieces, and the CVD-style joint improves steering angle capability and driveline articulation.

Each dog bone is supplied at 61mm from end to midpoint, with small parts pre-installed in the packaging. The assembly transfers torque through the gearbox and rear hubs to reduce binding when the suspension and steering reach high angles. Apply a medium-strength threadlocker to the set screws during final assembly to ensure a secure fit.

Packing includes

  • Rear Driveshafts - 2pcs
  • Drive cups - 2pcs
  • Set Screws M4x2.5x12.5 - 2pcs

  • TRAXXAS MINI XRT VXL 3S-108076-1

Opt for this hardened-steel replacement when you need a tougher rear driveline for trail or casual bashing with the Mini XRT VXL 3S, and remember to secure set screws with medium-strength threadlocker before use.

These driveshafts are listed for the TRAXXAS MINI XRT VXL 3S-108076-1 model and are intended as a direct replacement, but verify your truck's current hub and gearbox condition before fitting.
The black hardened treatment improves surface wear resistance; standard care and cleaning after wet or sandy runs will help preserve the finish.
Although small hardware arrives pre-assembled, applying medium-strength screw glue to the set screws is recommended to avoid loosening during aggressive running.
The CVD-style connection helps deliver smoother articulation at larger steering and suspension angles, reducing binding compared with some standard dog bone setups.
