37-Tooth Delrin Spur for Traxxas Revo

The RE-029 Delrin spur is supplied as a straightforward replacement for Traxxas Revo cars. It replaces worn plastic spurs to restore consistent tooth engagement and smooth drivetrain operation.

Acetal Delrin is chosen for its clean machining and steady engagement under normal RC loads. Since this unit retains the original 37-tooth count it maintains the Revo's intended ratio and simplifies fitment to correct mesh and axial position.

Installation follows standard procedure: remove the gearbox cover, extract the old spur assembly, slot the RE-029 into place on the shaft or carrier, then confirm axial position and motor pinion clearance. Reuse vehicle shims or fine tune pinion spacing to avoid tight spots.

Does this alter top speed or torque?

No. With the same 37T tooth count the gear ratio remains unchanged, so speed and torque characteristics stay the same when fitted in the same position.

When should I upgrade to a metal spur?
