The TRV089 aluminium fuel tank protector is an aftermarket aluminium-alloy component built for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo 3.3 nitro rigs. It shields the factory plastic tank from flying debris, bumps and chassis wear without changing fuel fittings or plumbing.

Installation is simple: the part sits over the existing tank mounting and uses the supplied screws in the single-piece kit, making it an easy service-time upgrade. Fuel lines and connectors remain accessible while the protector delivers a tougher contact surface beneath the tank.

For setup, the guard helps reduce tank flex that can disturb fuel flow and engine consistency, and it strengthens the surrounding chassis area to hold mounting geometry under aggressive running. Check exhaust and suspension clearances to avoid interference during travel.
