This aftermarket 9pcs front shock tower is built for use with the TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL chassis and provides a direct, reinforced mounting point for the front shocks while stabilising adjacent body mounts. The main plate is cut from 6061 T6 aluminium to deliver a practical balance of weight and stiffness and shows the typical CNC machining finish described in the product notes.

The tower features a matrix of shock top holes so you can change shock inclination and mounting height in small steps. Those options let you refine front-end response and handling balance without altering springs or dampers.

Does installation require any chassis drilling or trimming?

No additional drilling is expected; the tower is intended to use the stock front mounting points on a TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL.

Will the aluminium tower change handling significantly?

Switching to 6061 T6 aluminium stiffens the shock mount area compared with plastic, which alters how the chassis transmits forces through the front suspension and can affect corner entry and steering feel.
