Low-CG suspension and axle pack for Traxxas

This 64pcs upgrade groups front and rear aluminium shocks, hardened #45 steel axle components and spring-steel hex wideners to change ride height and track width on TRAXXAS RUSTLER and Slash platforms. The package is intended to lower the centre of gravity and tighten the suspension geometry for more consistent handling on 1/10 off-road circuits.

Key adjustable items are the top shock screw and the interchangeable springs, which let you set preload and overall compressive feel without specialised tools. The front shocks are shortened to 75mm and the rears to 80mm to drop ride height; gold and silver springs have different coil wire diameters listed in the parts section to alter stiffness. CVDs pair hardened #45 steel drive components with 6061-T6 aluminium housings to provide strength where the drive loads are highest.

Fitment notes: on Slash shells that sit lower after the conversion, watch for tyre to shell contact and use the supplied aluminium collars between body posts and shock mounts to change shock angle and support the body. The source suggests front 8mm with rear 12mm at max body height, and front 12mm with rear 16mm at min body height to preserve clearance.
