Rear wheelie bar upgrade for Rustler VXL

This nine-piece RUS4040R wheelie set is an aftermarket upgrade built for TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL vehicles. It forms a two-wheel tail support that fastens to the stock mounting points and lets you fine-tune wheelie angle and rear stability without modifying chassis geometry.

Components are fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminium while the wheels are Delrin with bearings for low-resistance rolling. The plate layout features multiple hole positions so you can set the roller higher for quicker flips or lower for improved straight-line tracking. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

Is this suitable for stock Rustler VXL bumpers?

Yes, the kit is designed to attach to the stock bumper mounting points on the TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL.

Can the roller bearings be serviced?

The Delrin wheels come fitted with bearings; they can be removed and cleaned or replaced like standard RC wheel bearings if needed.

Will changing the angle affect handling?

Yes. Raising the roller increases lift and flip tendency, while lowering it gives more rear stability and less tendency to wheelie. Adjust in small steps and test.
