Slash 1/10 4x4 low profile shock and wheel kit

This aftermarket upgrade is built for TRAXXAS Slash chassis and pairs shortened aluminium damper bodies with strengthened drivetrain pieces and a widened track to achieve a lower centre of gravity. The set bundles front and rear shocks, steel #45 hardened axle parts, spring-steel hex wideners, rubber tyres fitted to plastic rims, plus the collars and fixings needed to adjust geometry and body clearance.

Front shocks measure 75mm while rear shocks measure 80mm as delivered, so the car can run closer to the ground when installed. Two spring thicknesses are included for tuning: gold 2.6mm and silver 2.2mm. Stiffness is altered via spring swaps or by changing top-screw preload. The CVDs are assembled with hardened steel #45 internals and 6061-T6 aluminium bodies to balance rigidity and mass.

Wheel offset is increased using spring-steel hex wideners that add 3mm per side, giving 6mm total wider track for improved lateral stability. Rubber tyres on the supplied rims give consistent traction for flat-surface, high-speed running. This is an aftermarket RC accessory and not a full-scale vehicle component.

When fitting lowered shocks the shell can sit closer to the tyres; aluminium collars are supplied to lift the body posts away from the shock mount and adjust shock angle. Recommended collar setups are: at maximum body height use 8mm front and 12mm rear collars, and at minimum use 12mm front and 16mm rear collars to prevent shell interference.

The 68-piece low-CG package is aimed at modellers who want to lower stance and sharpen stability on smooth tracks; correct collar spacing and spring selection are required to dial in ride height and clearance.
